One last call for alcohol so finish your whiskey or beer
Closing time
You don't have to go home but you can't stay here

I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home
take me home

Closing time
Time for you to go out to the places you will be from
Closing time
This room won't be open till your brothers or your sisters come
So gather up your jackets, move it to the exits
I hope you have found a friend
Closing time
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end
yeah,

I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home
take me home

Closing time
Time for you to go out to the places you will be from.

I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home
take me home

I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home
take me home

Closing time
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end

This has always been a fun song ( to me). It mostly brings me back to 8th grade as a new student at Lacreole & resident of teeny tiny Dallas, Oregon. Most everyone confused it with either The Dalles, or Dallas, Texas. Often while visiting my Dad in Portland, people would say things like "Your a long way from home." It got pretty lame real fast. Anywho, the beginning of a new chapter. "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." I like that.

I also played this song at my wedding. It was the last song as everyone was heading out & gathering there things. Of course I planned it that way, no coincidence there. I can remember being in amazement that the night was already over. I wanted to dance! Just one more hour! Though it was already midnight, & the limo was waiting to collect myself, my new husband & all of our bridesmaids & groomsmen. We still had some celebrating ahead of us, which involved one person peeing in a cup & another drinking all of my husbands $600 bottle of Remi Martin. It was a gift he had been saving for this occasion. Haha, oh well... "Time for you to go out to the places you will be from..."
